Bringin' Home the Bacon...

Hit 6 country banks today - 2 in one town (one of which had all the 90% plus 18 of the 40%) and 4 in another town. By the time i was in the second town it was down to the commercial lane - i did manage 2 40%ers (one from each of 2 banks) this way - but i definitely need to go back during business hours.

Grand totals - and a pic below. Out of $194 in halves total

47 90% silver (50D, 51x3, 52, 53Dx2, 54D, 58D, 59, 60Dx2, 61Dx2, 62Dx2, 63Dx3 64x4, 64Dx24)
25 40% silver (65x5, 66x5, 67x10, 68Dx3, 69Dx2)

Haha - i just ask for halves - dont ask for old ones specifically. As a note though - i only post when i hit the loads - which is rare. Countless trips go by with nothing to show for it.

My last 3 trips before this (which each included 5+ banks) were:

$3 1 40% silver (65)
$8 1 clad proof (2000S)
$102 2 40% silver (67, 68D)

Course - i always ask when im in a grocery store/etc (the ones with banks in them) but usually strike out totally in halves - sometimes you do get lucky though!

But yeah, these were sitting there for a while - but sometimes you just get lucky. Back in may i got a full roll of silvers (mix of 90% and 40%) as well as another roll with 12 silvers from a bank right by the interstate here - right in the middle of the city. Someone just cashed them in w/out knowing i guess since a month before they didnt have any halves.
