    The Search (#10) 2/9/11-2/19/11

Evening everyone. This is my search and results for the last 11 days. Thanks for reading.

    2/9/11- I made 3 bank stops
#1- Picked up a box of halves(garda)(numbered box) after work.(skunk)
#2 -Dropped off a bag of halves and bought a box of cents(brinks). Teller told me there was a mixup between a deposit made at that branch and another branch. I hope to get it straightened out tomorrow with the bag stubs i retained. Results of cents(10 wheats, oldest 1930),(10 canadian, oldest 1952), and a unidentified aluminum coin dated 2001
#3-Bought $10 in cents(10 rolls of garda and 10 rolls of another type)- 7 wheats including 2(1917)and 2 clad halves from teller's tray.

    2/10- 2 bank stops
    #1-Another box of halves(garda)1-40%er
#2-Returned one bag of halves and straightened out mixup with bank. They had no problem selling me a box of nickels and cents.(brinks)
-Nickel box produced 3 buffalos(1927,partial date 1929, and a 1937) a 1943-P,a 1983 dominican republic coin, and a possible double clip. Cent box produced 15 wheats including a 1933 with partial wheat ears and 4 common canadian cents

2/11-Used the penny arcade during my lunch break. After work i picked up 1 half box from 1 bank, then 3 more half boxes from another bank. I noticed the three boxes were almost identical in style to last week's boxes. 2 boxes had brown and white wrappers, 1 box had yellow and white wrappers. I immediately spotted 2- 1964 enders in the box with the yellow and white wrappers so i started with that box.
    Totals for that box(18-1964s,13-40%ers,1977S proof,plated 1973D)
Box #2(brown and white wrappers)(This box had a lot of marked coins but it also had silver. I spotted a thin black rim in one roll and was surprised to see a well worn and grimy 1909 Barber. To keep it company were 2(1964s),2(1967s) and a 1982S proof.
Box #3(brown and white wrappers) 1981-S proof
    Box #4(From other bank)(skunk)

2/12- Worked a few hours Saturday morning, dropped 3 bags off at my dump bank and then went back to the bank that had yesterday's 3 half boxes. They usually keep 3 boxes in reserve in case there is a problem ordering. Yesterday, i asked if I could buy one of those today so they had it ready for me when I came in. Purchased it, opened it in the truck and saw at least 3-40% enders. Totals for that box were 14-40%ers and 2-64s. While i was in there, I asked if I could purchase the other 2 as well. They said they would have them ready Monday. Have to remember to bring in doughnuts. Great customer service.

    Made 6 additional bank stops
    #1 -Bought $100 in dimes(garda) (1947)
    #2 -Bought $10 in cents(totals below)
#3,#4- Asked about half dollars, neither bank had any
    #5-Bought $100 in dimes(garda)(1964,1964D)
#6-Bought $10 in cents(customer rolls)(11 common wheats,2 canadian 1964,1970 ) I asked about halves and the teller had around 6$ worth. As she's counting it out, she says this one's silver while doing the drop test.(1-40%,1965)
. (Shopping with my wife this evening, i stopped at the courtesy counter to see if any of the cashiers had halves- 1 clad)

2/13-Returned some dumps, then picked up a box of cents and nickels(both brinks) at another branch. Results: Cents(12 wheats including a cleaned 1909),4 common canadians and nickels(1 beat-up dateless buffalo,1944-P and 1944-D war nickels)
