College and CRHing do not go hand in hand, especially up here in Fairbanks where supply is limited and my class schedule keeps me from hitting banks regularly. Fridays are my main thrift/CRH days usually, so I decided to check the small bank in my campus center for halves. They had $100 worth which I bought. Skunk. Had to run some errands so I dumped the clad, got the cash, and stopped by the local Wells Fargo to re-deposit the money.

I asked about halves, and the teller pulled out about $6 worth from the tray. On the bottom of the stack I could see a lighter-shaded rim. I pull it out and see 1969. 40%! It's covered in red sharpie though. Either someone tried to be decorative or missed one. Oh well, it's still silver and will be added to the pile regardless of it's misfit, colored attire. Besides, red is my favorite color, so I'm happy. ;D

Hopefully this is a sign of things to come. Still looking for that first 90%!

I thought Alaska was gold country...

Good luck on the hunt for the 90%. They're tough to find, but they're out there.
