Revenge of 2001-D Halves
Don't know if Chase customers on the west coast are still finding solid boxes of 2001-D's, but I got some more. I picked up a box from Chase two weeks ago, which contained an assortment, so I decided to order more. The recent pickup yielded more solid boxes.

I was getting 1995 boxes last year. Strangely there would always be about 3 40% included with the 95% 1995 coins.

The other day I got a box of dimes ($250), and 83% of them (over $207) were 1986-p

It's because of all those damn CRHers!! LOL
They depleted the supply so they order all new coins!!
CRHers in west coast.. stop CRHing halves!! Switch to pennies, dime, nickels, or even quarters!!
Pretty soon the mint will mint 2012 ones used for circulation due to CRHers. CRHers besides a few casinos are the only ones that order them.

The 2001-D are done. I am now getting 1999-D. I get them in the bay area and my dad has them near Sacramento.
What bank in your area offers a coin counter?

Re: Revenge of 2001-D Halves
The 2001-D's aren't done because I got another box of them Tuesday. They also forgot to order for me this Friday which is a good thing I suppose. This is making me consider sitting this out for a week. Clearly it's because there's a shortage of halves.. I wonder why.. hmmm
Wished I had some type of insight into the facility. These things tend to go in waves as the pallets that these boxes are sitting on.
There's no point in getting a coin counter. I just weigh them.. to make sure they are accurate and dump them. It doesn't matter that they're in original rolls when dumped because where I dump, they don't reuse those wrappers. They open up the rolls, machine count there, and re-wrap them and use their own wraps.
