6/26/06 box results

Boo! Hiss! With all the 90%-ers turning up my hopes were high. So what does my latest box produce--one 1966. Yeah it's better than getting skunked but geez what a letdown. I think I've gotten about 10 boxes so far and the best I've done is five 40%-ers. I honestly have better finds in the casino. I think I'll ride that till the end before getting another box.

Know what you mean, the pickings are starting to get slim here for my box purchases also. It seems the best finds are at the small towns. I am continuing to purchase the boxes but have a small cash stash for in case I take a trip somewhere I can have ready cash to stop by banks in the outlying towns.

I find a lot more at the casino to,

I got 7 40% last week,its better than hauling around them

heavy boxs of halves and only find 1 or 2 .

Immy, don't feel bad my three boxes last week had NOTHING! But I have adopted a new startegy because I think the Brinks people just re-rolled the boxes I dropped off at the banks the week before and sent them back out to me. Well that won't happen this week, I know I won't get those same halves back. LOL I still might get skunked again but I'll keep on trying. Congrats on finding at least one!

went to the casino sat. night. put 100 in slot machine and cashed in. zilch. brought those to the teller. put 100 in slot machine again. zilch
brought those to the teller. put 100 more in slot machine and guess what? you guessed it zilch again. oh well at least i can dump my halves there when i go.

I know what you mean Pennyworth, but at least you've had the thrill of finding dream boxes. I haven't even found one 90% yet. That leads me to believe someone on the rolling end is snagging them before I ever get 'em.

Maybe there's something to the small town phenomenon. Fewer people searching, lots more to find. Vegas could be hunted out.
