Nice Magician's Coin

Found a nice magician's coin last week while dumping a bag of half dollars. I had missed it while searching but it rejected from the coin counter because it was under weight. When I looked a little closer I could see the seam where it was put together. I then dropped it on the counter and it sounded dead.

The machining is excellent and it took a bit to get it apart. When I did I was really surprised to find that it was a dime inside of a quarter which was inside the half. Both the dime and the quarter had also been machined to fit. Pictures below.

Nice find. I found a half a few months ago and last week found a nickel.

Re: Nice Magician's Coin

I got a trick coin on Monday. Both sides were "Heads" and it was made with two 1964 90% silver Kennedy Halves. It doesn't come apart, so it is a "Flip Trick Coin". Call..."Heads" and you can't lose. I'm sure it was made a long time ago when silver was worth peanuts because all the ones I've ever seen were made from Clad coins. Check my post on the forum from Monday and you will see a picture.
