After finding franklins and kens I have been on the hunt for my first walking liberty... Tonights 2 boxes finally produced one :)
Rim was dirty but I could tell it was silver, thought maybe a kennedy or franklin, started screaming when I saw that beautiful dress!!Totals for the night :
Box 1:
1-1943 walking liberty (first ever found CRH'ing)
1-1964 kennedy
2-40% kens (68x2)

Box 2:
2-40% kens (68,69)
1-2005s impaired clad proof

Congrats! That Walker looks to be in pretty nice shape too.

Thanks! It is in good shape, all the lines on the skirt are visible, only thing that looked "old" was the rim. Still pretty excited as I type :)

I just can't get over how good the condition is on that walker. I see ones listed as BU on ebay with less detail. Be sure she goes in the "valuable coins that should be treated with tender loving care" pile and not the "junk silver" pile!

I have yet to find my first walking liberty, but this is in great shape!!! I've seen many silvers posted on here with the black grime surrounding the higher points of the coin.

Its already carded and in the book "of firsts" binder :) Def one that I will remember. Been a good month and a half, found my first 2 mercs and a barber dime in NF string rolls, and found my first franklins and this lady in my halves boxes.

I need to find a box that will have one in it for my wife to find.... She was a bit jealous, now if I can figure out how to have xray vision :)

Nice looking Walker with fine detail and no apparent scratches.
Congratulations. Truly a nice find.
