Recent Nickel, Dime, Quarter & Half Dollar averages.
I live in Massachusetts. Here are my recent (last month or so) averages for nickels, dimes, quarters and halves. I do fairly large volumes with around 10 boxes of half dollars per week, and 15 boxes of dimes. I only do maybe 3 boxes of nickels and quarters per week. Let me know how these numbers match up to you in your region.
Dimes- 2 silvers per box
Nickels- 2 War Nickels per box, 1 Buffalo every 2.5 boxes
Quarters- 1.5 per box (My average is skewed due to a box with 7 in it...)
Half Dollars- 3 silvers per box, with a 3:1 ratio in favor of 40% over 90%
CWR Dimes- 2 per $100
CWR Halves- ~1 per $100 (this does not include a huge score of 3 nearly solid rolls of 40%ers I got 3 weeks ago in CT)
Customer wrapped and teller's trays getting thin for silver halves... maybe the younger tellers are catching on.
I think these numbers are pretty good, but I hope you are all having better luck!
