Help Me Identify this Kennedy Half! *PICS*
Hey guys, I thought I heard of some members finding some halves like this one on here, but it's a 1986-P Kennedy Half that is stamped 1960 on the left side of Kennedy and 1985 on the right side. It also appears to be gold plated. Can anyone tell me the story behind it? Thanks and HH to all!

It's a commemorative coin that was supposed to signify the 25th anniversary of Kennedy's inauguration. I believe it sold for $5.99.
Based upon the following pie chart, silver has quite a way to go still. Pretty technical stuff, I know, but the charts don't lie.

They aren't rare, but I'd keep it. I think I've kept 2 of them and put maybe 1 or 2 back into the wild. Neat coin, but it's nothing of much value.

Ya, no value was just part of a get rich quick scheme that some guys came up with. Just like those people who sell half dollar rolls for $12.00+ each
I heard they got rich quick.
