S mint copper nickel halves

Has anyone had a problem finding coin shops that will buy these halves? Is it better to try to sell a roll of random dates?

you just have to find the right shop. They won't buy them unless they are in good shape. They can't sell them for much unless they are mint state, and you'll only get a dollar or two depending on what proof you sell. I keep all the one's I find, and I'm about to turn in a bunch of my extras. I'm interested to see how much they'll give me for mine.

Just thought of a great idea... go to ebay, and pack a roll with one proof ender, and stick another proof inside the roll. bet that roll would sell for $30+

you mean impaired proofs? Some people know of people that buy them but I don't. I've had a bunch that I've held onto. New ones I get.. I just throw them back into the wild.

PCGS / PR 70 DCAM

There was a 2006-S clad half that sold for $200, but most of the high price proofs are from the 70's..

If you got them CRH, they are worth $.50
I collect them just for fun, but would never expect to receive more than face for them..
I will eventually throw them back into the wild..
