I've only been CRH since the end of June and started out slow. I got one box a week from my main bank. My results were fantastic compared to the averages I see on here so I figured I was in an untapped market. I increased my box order and started going to several banks. I worked my way up to 8 boxes a week.

Well it looks like the honeymoon is over. I just opened my 9th skunk box in a row during the past 7 days. That may not seem like a lot to many of you; however, to put it into perspective I have done a total of 29 boxes so far and only had 1 skunk box before this week. I know I am very lucky and have had amazing results so far but I really can't understand what happened. I should not complain as I'm sure I was overdue for a bad streak but I hoped my good luck would continue forever!!!! Enough of my whining...here are my box results and a picture of my full silver rolls.

1. 1/90, 11/40
2. 1/9, 17/40
3. 4/90, 25/40
4. 3/90, 14/40
5. 5/90, 6/40
6. Skunk (box was opened and retaped as were all rolls inside)
7. 1/90, 16/40
8. 22/90, 18/40
9. 3/90, 7/40
10. 5/90, 179/40 (MY BEST BOX EVER!)
11. 4/90, 15/40
12. 1/90, 6/40
13. 2/90, 15/40
14. 3/40
15. 8/40
16. 8/40
17. 2/90, 71/40
18. 3/90, 30/40
19. 5/40
20. 1/90, 2/40
21- 29. Skunk

I have also had some minor success with road trips. My totals so far are:

59- 90% (3 Walkers, 6 Franklins, 50 Kennedy 1964)
492- 40% Kennedys
3- Washington Quarters (eyeballed from teller tray)

In retrospect, this looks likes good year so consider my pity party officially over!

I see you have no tubes for 1965s, did you find any?
Less than 1% of the 40s I find are 1965s

Only 16 '65s so far. Close to one tube but not quite there. Still no 70's either...

Wow...just wow!!!!

You must live on the east coast. I've been doing 2 boxes a week, plus whatever I chance upon, and my finds are a mere shadow to yours.

those are some ridiculous numbers, you got all of those from regular Brinks/string/etc boxes?

Guess you got lucky and hit a major collection vein in an untapped market to start your career.

The law of large averages catches up with everyone!

I'm sure you'll find more boxes that are in the "normal range" , right now you are like in the +6 sigma range lol.

Awesome score, don't let that skunk get in your way. Your area has been kind to you with halves, I can see a skunk streak of 20+ boxes, but don't let 10 skunk boxes get in your way. 1965 halves are tough in my area as well, the most common dates for 40% halves are in order from most to least: 1968d, 1967(tied for first), 1969d, 1966, 1965

I like the box. Did you make it?

I bought the box, tubes and my collecting books from coinsupplyexpress.com. The boxes were $6.28 each, a case of 100 HE Harris twist top coin tubes was $22.89 and the HE Harris coin folders were $2.84 each. I paid $9.99 shipping for everything (I hink I had to go over a certain amount to get that rate but I don't remember).

Thanks for the nice comments everybody! I got three more boxes today and finally broke the skunk streak on the third box...I got a single 67 Kennedy. I have found a lot of coins but that one coin to break the skunk streak felt SOOOOO good to find!
