Cleaning up, found an unopened box of nickels dated 6/12/06 !!!

Hi all, it's stormy here on the east coast(Thanks Irene...), so I decided to clean out the closet that I haven't used for a few years(junk storage now). A lot has been thrown away, but I did manage to find something I did not expect. it's a small closet, took me less than an hour to clean it out even though I kept putting it off over the years.

Kept a few things, but I then realized it was time to let some things go. At the absolute bottom left corner of the closet under a bunch of junk is a box of brinks nickels unopened stamped 6/12/06 on the top(it was really worn, the 6 may be an 8, but it is definately from 2006.)

Getting excited, I sat down and opened the box of nickes expecting a jackpot 5 years later.

So many pre 1960 nickels, but no war nickels or buffalo nickel, I am a bit dissapointed considering the box was stamped from June of 2006. Needless to say, I found $100 that I did not have before, kind of like lost money.

Great finds, I've got a box of pennies from 2009 I'm keeping in the back closet. I know there will be a point when crh'ing will not be viable (kinda like it is in the euro zone), and I know that my kids/grandkids would get a kick out of it someday (I'm 20)
