Wow, I cannot believe the condition of that beauty. I think that this thread makes me about as jealous as anything I have seen on here. Well, right up there anyways. Amazing find man, congrats to you. I only started checking coinstars after I started reading this forum a few months ago and have never found anything other than a wheat penny two or three times.

GReat job, I love it.

Chris.

Absolutely, positively get that slabbed. It's at least XF, maybe AU. In that condition it must have come from a collection that got cashed in (or was stolen). Also, don't clean it or touch it or breathe on it; that could easily be a $1000 coin depending on the exact grade you get.

Show us the reverse too, it's a super example.

Where's the reverse pic?!?!?

I wanna see FSB!!!

That coin is the best I've ever seen for that type.

That may have been in someones dresser forever and ended up in a cash-in.

That is just TOO SWEET~~ Congratz!! :headbang:

It's got my nom for the banner. Value-wise, it's not far from 1916-D that's up there. I know people don't want to draw too much attention to roll-hunting, but this is a Coinstar find, not a bank-roll hunting find.

Awesome find! It's definately the real deal. (It's the only coin I don't have in my Merc collection- got the 16d.) I would grade it AU from the look of the obverse. A $1000+ coin! Definately worth grading... Send it to PCGS (unless it gas something wrong w/reverse or cleaned.) Thats the best grading service.

Congrats!!!
