#1 1983-D scratch seems to be under the leaves

#2 1971-D could this be a crack in the die? also forhead seem to be irregular.

#3 1971-D I'm sure this split came after the fact but what would cause it to split in that fashion?

Here are 4 more oddities that I found in my box this week.

#4 1971-D. There is an extra leaf on the bottom right of the branch.

#5 1972 There are lines eminating out from the leaves.

#6 1971-D. A crack across the top of the Y in LIBERTY.

#7 1971-D. This seems to be an overly polished die. Chin and upper lip show the most.

#6 and #7 wouldn't fit so I'll try to put them on the next page

Any comments on these coins are welcome. I'll post them as I find them.

Well, I'm not qualified to comment on the nature of the finds, but would like to say "well done!" in making the finds. That's the kind of thing I would love to come up with.

Wow, do you go over every coin with a magnifier? That's a lot of defects I certainly would not have caught! Great catches, keep searching!
