Normally I wouldn't keep a 41-S since I have a whole roll already but this is the "large S" type, a fairly uncommon variety that has a value of $5 in only Very Fine condition. What is a "large S" type? Take a look at the S on a 1938, 1939 or 1940, it's very tiny. Now look at a 1946 thru 1954 S. It's much larger with prominant serifs. Most in 1941 were made with the smaller S but some have the larger. In fact all denominations have small and large S varieties in 1941.

Switching gears here, I found a really neat $1 bill today. The serial # is L07777177B, with six sevens! Six of the same digit is very hard to find.
