Bag of Pennies with very interesting story and some questions

We went to a Wells Fargo and we were counting nickels. Before we started I looked in the rejected tray to see if there was anything. A few pennies and 2 nickels. I pull out the pennies and there were 4 Steel Pennies, All P's! So we start talking and think that if these were in the rejected tray, what's in the bags? All of the bags get full after a while and a teller comes out. When they open it up, I look into one of the bags and see a TON of wheat pennies! I also saw an early nineteen hundreds foreign coin. Dad says that he's asked before, and they wouldn't let him buy them off of the machines. He asked again, and no luck there. So close to a dream bag.
I have a question about the steel pennies, there not in the best condition. If I put them in the rock tumbler, will it just make the condition better, or totally disorder the coin?

We went to another bank and I got a bag of pennies, $50. I start right when we get home and the results were...
