Hi all,
Did a dime box tonight. Nice diversity. Small haul: 1-1946 Rosie; 1-1968 Canadian (50% silver--I think); and, a 1933 Panama dime. Never had a Panama dime with such an early date. So, I go on ebay just to satisfy my curiosity and there is a listing for the same for $129.99. Is this individual a nut case or is this particular dime worth more than melt value? Any comments welcome.

Depends on the condition. The dime has a mintage of 100,000.
If it's in MS condition, the price would be ok.

Apush, quick question; what happened in 1492? It's your current post count. :tongue3: :tongue3:

King Manuel I, bedazzled by the Moorish tiles at the Alhambra in Spain, brought home enough to decorate his palace in Sintra.

You can weigh the 1968 Canadian dime, and the 50% silver version should weigh @ 2.33 grams as opposed to the nickel version which weighs @ 2.07 grams. Or just do the magnet test like the rest of us. :laughing7:

That 1/10 balboa is 90% silver. :icon_thumleft: Very nice.

Any scores in Galveston?

Just being a nut. I've seen people trying to sell cheap low end Wayne Gretzky cards on ebay for high prices. And by low end I mean stuff like 1990 Score or Pro Set. Anyone familiar with sports cards will know the cheap stuff. But this guy was insistent on his prices. Everyone I spoke to just laughed. I see peoples points wanting to get the most they can, but be reasonable.

No scores in Galveston. Ordered coins (6 boxes of halves) and goodness gracious they were "back ordered." But, I did find a whopping $3.00+ in clad at the beach. :icon_sunny:
