I would suggest not wasting time finding a different bank, and spend that time/energy focusing on finding a new hobby...

There were about six coins per roll that were marked. is that usually the case?

You could try another bank and see if you get as many marked coins. If you still get a lot of marked coins, there may be another CRHer in your area going through and marking a ton of halves.

Question marked coins bug me too. I'm much more tolerant of the ones marked with an exclamation point or a semi colon.

:laughing9:
I've actually seen/searched marked coins with a '?' inscribed on them with a green highlighter.

I don't think changing banks will help you much.

Sometimes, I get boxes that are freaking LOADED with marked coins, like 600 out of the 1,000...but I have still found silver in those boxes.

Actually, 30 pages of posts is more like it.

I read every post I could on CRH, literally hours and hours and hours, and when I thought I could read no more, I stopped for the day, and resumed reading the next day.

And I didn't skim or just pick out a few posts, I read everything written on CRHing halves that I could.
