There is probably a post somewhere here about this. I think I have figured out something and was wondering if you guys have a similiar experience. One particular armored car company here. I have went through about 4k in change from thier rolls. I have never found any silver. Possible that they are so popular that peps have already found all thier silver? Or possible that they pull out the silver before they roll?

Anyone have similiar thoughts on this one.

BTW the only other armored car company here I have decent luck with.

I've wondered about this too. One train of thought says that the volume of coins they handle makes it just about impossible to effectively check for silver. But what if they have the technology that Coinstar has - machines that sort out the silver before it ever gets rolled? We need someone on the inside of one of these joints!

OMG would I love to know someone who works inside the armored car facilities. Especially one of their rollers.

I have wondered about this too. I imagine the only way to tell the difference would be by wieght because the size would be the same. I imagine the wieght difference in quarters would be to detect. Dimes would be more difficult, but I have noticed that coinstar machines will kick the silver dimes out. I think pennies & nickles would be next to impossible.

Yes I think pennies and nickels would be hard to deal with, but getting out the rest probably would be feasable.

Sorry forgot to mention no casinos within atleast 150 miles of me. That would be pretty cool though if one was close, if it had machines that did halves that would sure solve the problem.
