9/30/06 nickels & halves

Great day all around!

My downtown casino gave up ten 40%-ers: 66, 67x2, 68x2, 69x5. Plus while cashing out one machine two Sac dollars came out! Went thru $1200 all totaled.

This was my best $100 box of nickels yet!

It's the first time I've found three buffalos in one day. Also the first time this year I got all three PDS of a single year at once. I love this hobby!!!

Three buffalos in one box, UNBELIEVABLE!!!! A big CONGRATS on finding those! That casino is really paying off well, 10 more silver beauties and you made a profit of $1.00 on the two Sacs. LOL That's really odd that the machine doesn't know the difference between a half dollar and a Sac dollar. You really got a little bit of everything today, CONGRATULATIONS!

Excellent day. You just about got me talked into trying out some nickels. That is if I can get some without a 10% charge LOL.

You know perhaps I should put pressure on the community and get them to gripe at the banks. Nothing like grocery shopping : average $120 to $160 per week and having peps enjoy being behind me while I count out pennies, nickels, dimes and halves.

Notice the absence of quarters. They are evil to look through.

Congratulations again Immy sorry about hi-jacking your post. Just thought it was a cool thought.

Of course by doing the change thing I will probably only manage to get myself on a poster in the post office:

I try and get 10 rolls of nickels each week also. I seem to have the best luck getting 20-50s with nickels then anything else. Out of the last 20 rolls I have scored quite a few war nickles, some 30s and alot of 40s. I also get a ton of those 1964 and 1964D nickels. I counted 17 64s in 10 rolls. Congrats on your nickel finds, you did good.
