My Shameful Behavior
I found myself at the CU at lunch time today - for a purpose completely unrelated to CRH.
As I was leaving, something caught my attention. A very attractive, much younger than I, young lady was getting out of a shiny sports car. I found myself staring and fantasizing - not staring and fantasizing about the attractive young lady. That would be perverse. Not staring at and fantasizing about the sharp set of wheel. I've outgrown that phase. I was staring at and fantasizing about the pail of coins she was holding. Can you just imagine what might've been in there? Wheats, buffalos, commems, indians, sheilds, libs, mercs, rosies, sitters, standers, busts, walkers, barbers, kens, bens, proofs, you name it.
I hope no one saw me abruptly correct my gaze after too long of an ogle. I'm so ashamed.

Re: My Shameful Behavior
You ought to be ashamed of yourself...staring at an attractive young woman...in a sports car...holding a rack--uh, I mean pail of coins. Tsk...tsk...tsk.
I have NEVER done such a thing!!

OP sounds perfectly fine to me. I'm an Old Geezer myself and I would have been staring at everything.

No just as long as you are gazing upon the coins and not on the woman.

Re: My Shameful Behavior
I often think about just offering to buy people's change jar / pails / bags off of them. If only I had a mobile coin counter.
Speaking of poor behavior in CU's in Wisconsin - I got the dirtiest look when I filled the bags on the coin machine and while it was open, gawked at the reject tray and offered to buy out what was in there. "We can't do anything with those." She says to me, then shoots me another glare and shakes her head at me.

first off for your not staring at the car if you are a guy and have a pulse you will stare at the car even if for a moment guys will never grow out of it.
and second reading what you typed at what could be in the pail after i was done reading it all i could think to add after proofs would be Methodists. if you have seen blazing saddles you know what part i am talking about.

Re: My Shameful Behavior
Not many young attractive women around these parts. SD that's a different story. I pretty much stick to the coins when I go to the banks.

Her:
Quite well sir, how are you?
Me:
I was wondering if you would like to have a cup of coffee and discuss my passion/obsession?
Her:
OK, just let me do my banking and then we can go back to my place.
Me:
NO! bring your coins with you. And, oh yeah, you're driving.
Her:
