Yesterdays Road Trip with decent results. (Kinda long)

Made a 200 mile "loop" as my dad would say. Stopped at over 40 banks along the way. Most had none or said some guy came got them this morning . The LAST bank I stopped at had 1 roll of halves and I though heck, I'll take them. I am so glad I was persistent and did stop even though my morale sucked at this point. I got the roll and a box of dimes and headed back to my truck. I didn't even open them right then because I honestly did not care. LOL. We stopped at red lobster and ate and curiousity finally got the better of me. I went outside to my truck and opened the roll of halves and almost died. 15 out of 19 were silver I didn't even care it was short at this point. No 90%s but 15 40%s sure feels better than finding no silver at all. I just got done going through the dime box and it gave up a 1961. After this eating we proceeded to drive to the silver star casino and played blackjack until 4am. I left there up $300 so I actually MADE money and silver from this trip. I went to go pay my truck note at my dads bank not too long ago and paid $200 in cash and $100 in rolled halves. I looked in the Tellers tray and and see a 40% half. After our transaction, I did a bit of acting. I frowned and said I am really sad I had to turn in those halves I have saved for years and asked her if I could buy the 3 in her tray. She said SURE!! She threw them on the counter and immediately looked sick because she knew one of the was silver. Score, Me 1, Bank 0.
