More silver today..

I dumped and went to a few banks before and after class today..
Before class: 3 banks...one said bc im not a member they couldn't give me anything...even though they always have before..new girl I assume..
Other than that...$50 in dimes, and $50 in halves...skunk.
After class: Went to like 6 banks looking for halves...found very few...no silver..At one bank I bought $100 of dimes...And even thought I'm sure some of those rolls were short....no complaints....2 silver dimes!
I cashed that stuff in and bought $200 dimes...skunk.
but two silver is better than nothing!! I'm going back at it again tomorrow I think! Hope for a 3 day silver streak lol

lol how do you go through so many dimes so fast? do you date check? I got 200 dollars in dimes and got like 50 bucks left and took like 4 hours haha but im watching tv also

No I don't date check at all unless it's a dark rim or some thing strange. Only rim!

ahhhh good idea haha the dimes i got tho were in paper rolls but ya i think rim checkin would be alot better with dimes

If it's a paper MWR I use a coin counter to dump. If its clear rolls,I don't open them. And CWR I slide bak into the roll. Gives me main dump break some what of a break.

Another thing I have been doing is buying dimes, checking them...then using those rolls to buy halves.
It saves time. And allows me to stretch my money more.

The banks I hit, they have to open the rolls to put them through the counter so its easier just to bag them.

Well in my home town I can rarely find large amounts of halves. So I buy the small amounts with dimes.
And if I'm out of town...I buy large amounts with dimes, bc I more than likely won't be buying dimes from there

almost skipped over a barber dime in clear wrap.....i rim check but it blended in . even if there clear i open and rim and check all dirty or older coins !
