Epic box of cents
So I cracked into the first box of cents which I have stored until my ryedale arrives. So I open the box and see immediately 4 wheat enders staring right in front of me . Excited, I checked the rest of the rolls and ended up with 6 enders. So I sat there thinking to myself.....wow that's a lot of enders. Maybe I'll get a bunch of wheats (hoping for like 25). Well I dumped the first 3 rolls (not the enders) into the a bin and I see 3 wheats looking at me. Upon further inspection, there were 7 wheats in the first 3 rolls . Well, this was the best box ever for me.
Ended up so far with 120 wheats, and 1 1898 IHC . I'm still waiting for the ryedale so I can run what I have in the bin. There are probably a couple of more wheats in the pile since I haven't hand searched it. I am still in shock.
Anyway, pics or it didn't happen:
The enders: (2x 1944, 1942, 41', 48', and a 57'-D)

The pile of wheats:

And the IHC:

Reverse:

I still have the 7 boxes left, who knows what I'll get

Epic box indeed! Love it when it happens. My best wheat counts were 71 and 47 and no Indians in either, so you win hands down. Nicely done!

Thanks dude!
What I got is probably someone's wheat cent collection. This is definitely an anomaly. Most of them were common date, only about 12 are pre-40' with the oldest a 1920. But I'll take a pile of wheats any day
Oh, and the IHC too, lol

Re: Epic box of cents
You got too many! You better release some of those back into the wild. Just kidding, that is an amazing score that we can all dream about someday.

Re: Epic box of cents
I opened the other 3 boxes with the same serial# (5479) and one box had 5 enders with one roll being a double ender, one had 4 and the other 3 so we shall see. The rest of the boxes had serials in the 4k's.
Thanks for the comments guys!!
