    Bought a collection (pic heavy)

Went on my normal route today not expecting to find much, but the first bank i stopped at by chance had some funny looking rolls. I asked to buy $30 which was everything not in the vault and the tellers opened the rolls to make sure they looked okay? Well the very first roll had another roll completely wrapped in tinfoil inside of it. Strange lol . Well that ended up being an UNCIRC. roll of 1999P halves. I asked how many more halves the bank had and i bought them all. All $300 dollars worth. Brought them home and found even more interesting rolls. 5 of the rolls were paper on the outside and aluminum on the inside, weird lol. Those produced 3 lowly 40% halves and the rest of the 30 rolls produced a plethora of NIFC including a solid roll each of UNCIRC. 1987 P, 1987 D, 2009 P, 2009 D, 1776-1976 P, 1776-1976 D, and enough NIFC to fill about 7 rolls. The rest of the coins were a mixture of the usual but all were in UNCIRC. or AU condition. I will def be filling in some holes and upgrading a majority of my set. Hell, i could probably even fill out a second set will the coins found, and the little bit of silver that came along with it all was the icing on the cake. Also found my first foreign coin in a roll of half dollars (1956 Italian 100 Lire - Stainless Steel) and this extremely worn half dollar. Mint error or just plain wear? If just wear then i have never seen a Kennedy with such a horrible life lol.

I would say that is the most worn down kennedy I have ever seen. It looks like the tin foil was to protect the end coins of the mint rolls and to protect the mint paper. Whoever had them before probably just thought if they put those rolls away and protect them properly they will be worth a lot some day.

It wasn't a horrible life. Someone carried that coin in his pocket for many years probably because he admired JFK. I have found a few of those coins over the years.
