Lost some interest in pennies as I am starting to hit a bad bunch, decided to do some nickels when an extremely worn shield nickel popped out! I nearly screamed as I never expected to find such a thing. Posting up pics soon.
Too bad it is worn out, dateless, but still you can see some details on the front and back. Will be posting pics, probably not worth much as it is dateless.
Sheild Nickel was once my nickel goal, but I've all but given up on nickels.
I had the vending machine guy give me "an old Canadian nickel" once that was actually a 1902 US V nickel.
I found a decent 1891 V nickel in the foreign coin bin at the LCS recently for 0.20.
