So frustrating!

So I'm at my normal pick-up bank today. The vault teller there is really cool to me and we start chatting today. She tells me that she collects coins too and that she tries to buy what is in the trays. Right then I'm thinking "Arrggghhhh!!!". All the tellers are cool and they always sell me whats in their trays when I pick up. Now I find out that the vault teller is picking them clean before I get there. Then she tells me that she had a woman come in last month and deposit $70 in MORGAN DOLLARS!!!! "ARRRGGGHHH!!!!. I know I need to be thankful that I have a good bank, they even say I can order as many boxes as I want. I have a standing order for twice a week and when I can up my bank roll they will let me order as much as I want. It's just frustrating!!!

Similiar experiences at a few of mine, you missed 20 morgans the other day, soandso snapped them up quickly....etc etc. However, you will also find plenty of tellers that had collected some over the years and will sell it to you for between blue book and under spot range. So keep on chatting it up with them you never know what you could find!

So keep on chatting it up with them you never know what you could find!

I know this happens, it's just the first time it's happened to me. I am actually glad she is so cool with everything. They told me they will let me exchange my dumps for my pick-ups if I want. I don't do that though, just want to keep my karma as good as possible.

I've gotten used to that a long time ago. I have accts with a half dozen banks, and EVERY branch has a cherry-picken teller. For awhile, cwr dimes were fair game. Lately I've discovered that they are going through those dime rolls as they come in. Is nothing sacred?

That kind of stuff makes me try harder. Hit more banks. Ask for more coins. The more you do the more you will find!!
