So what's your longest SKUNK STREAK?

I don't turn some of the huge numbers some people report. I have had one big find with 31 coins in one box. Aside from that I average 1 maybe 2 keepers per box. I do feel fortunate though as my worst skunk streak has only been 5 box so far. I've heard of some people having streaks into the 20's. If you don't mind sharing, whats your worst skunk streak?

I just broke a 6 or 7 stink streak on boxes of halves the other day with a single 1968

Current skunk streak for halves, Brinks 6 Boxes and String, 2.

Tuesday I have 4 Brinks due, Wednesday I have 4 Brinks and 2 String. Skunk should be over.

4 is my longest, on brinks. Never more than 3 on strings. Just went through 2 skunk brinks this evening.

Last year, I suffered through a 33 box skunk streak.

I pledged to make up for it by working more dimes. I went through $1,800 in skunk dimes!!!!

14 box skunk streak at the end of last year. Followed that up with 6 skunks for 20 out of 21. Had a few other streaks in the 5-10 range. I've been skunked on over 50% of my boxes to date.

Last week I did 26 boxes and had 14 skunks. Its just part of the game.

You must be getting the same boxes as me because our numbers are strangely similar. My best box also had 31 silvers. My worst skunk streak was 5 Strings boxes I average about 2 silvers a box. It's the perfect number - if I found any less, it would not be worth all the searching/dumping. I think those guys who pack those boxes are "STRINGing" us along - leaving just enough silver in there to keep us buying them. Every once in a while you do get a good one though - makes it worth it I guess.
