This Week's Finds...

Had some pretty cool silver finds this week. I did 3 boxes of halves (down week for boxes for me). I also did $1490 in CWRs and 2 boxes of dimes.
Here's what I was able to recover...

Halves - Boxes:
Box1- Skunk
Box2- '34 Walker, '35 Walker, '40s Walker, '63 Ben, '63d Ben, '67x2
Box3- '64

Halves - CWRs:
$590- Skunk
$900- '67x4, '69d
I also pulled as '82p No FG from the CWRs. I haven't been searching dates much lately - mostly I just edge search. However, if I find some silver in my CWRs, I like to skim through the dates cuz they generally haven't been searched by CRHers and sometimes I can find a dbl die or other variety (like I did this time).

Dime Boxes:
Box1 (Sting)- '57d, 62d(ender), '64d
Box2 (Loomis)- Skunk (again - no surprise)

Half Box2 was nice - most Walkers I have found in a box; Dime Box1 was good - anything more than 1/box is great for me. Skunked again on my Loomis box- have yet to find a single silver in a Loomis dime box. Anyone else have luck with them?

Overall, can't complain. I found a good deal of 90%ers this week. Total silver: approx. 3.4 oz.

I found 3 '82P no FG halves myself in an otherwise skunk box about a month ago. So far those are the only no FG halves I've ever found.

I've had fairly silm pickens' with my boxes lately. In my last 10 half boxes I think I've only found 5 x 40%, 1 x 90% Ben & 4 clad commems (including my 2nd '94D World Cup I found in my last box just yesterday). Thankfully the cwr halves have been producing much better for me lately.

You just never know what you'll find or where or when you'll find it with this hobby. But so far I'd sure have to say it's been a pretty good year and I sure hope my good luck continues.
