Dad was scalped this war as Tanner searching a BoA box with plastic wrappers found an 1893 Indian Head:headbang: (our third) plus 11 common wheats(oldest 1941). Dad searching a box made from customer rolls managed just four common wheats (oldest 1945).

We have searched 122 boxes during our wheat wars and perhaps 20 from before the wars began at total of 142 boxes (355,000 coins) finding 3 Indian Heads about 1 per 40 boxes.

Keep on Searching
Dad and Tanner

PS 1893 inventions: The Ferris Wheel, the zipper and Cracker Jacks

That Indian head looks to be in pretty good shape! you two have certainly gone through a lot of penny boxes, any rare wheats? how about any steel cents? I'm guessing those are even rarer then indian heads, since they are so easy to spot and even non-collectors get the sense they're worth saving

When I read the title, I thought this was going to be somewhat similar to the "Tanner Goes Nuclear" war.

Some of the oldest and rarest wheats we have found in the wild :1909 (in change from Tanner's lunch money), Coin Roll hunting: 1910, 1911, 1913, 1915, 1932 d, 1923 s, 1924 s, 1928 s, 1931 d.

Dad and Tanner

We have found 5 or 6 steal wheats (all 3 types p,d,s) They were all pretty poor shape.
