gold plated coins

Not even sure its gold. I ve been thinking of trying to put together a set, 1971 thru 2001.

By the way, I found 3 of them today. 1 1982 and 2 1999.

Some folks here have said they have seen people selling groups of them on ebay and doing pretty decent with them. It might pay just to leave the plating on, save them up then sell them on ebay.

Why "unplate" them? Just leave them be....no reason to bother trying to remove the finish. :)
I have found one so far.
