I'm happy if I get one war nickel in a box so 1 in half a box is doing good. I had a good box today with 4 in it, one was also a 43s. I've been doing a couple of boxes a week, last year I had one great box with 14 in it. Hope you find your 100 this year, you're off to a fine start.
Thanks minky.i dont have the funds to do even one box of nickels but if i did id probably find 9 or 10.but then box after would have nothing.its all luck for me. Nickel Searcher 219
I had a roll this week with a 43 p war nickel and a 1920 buffalo. Out of all the nickels I've searched never found a liberty head. But plenty of buffaloes

1/100 of an American dollar is a cent. It is NOT a penny. The word penny is used by several other countries, such as Great Britain, to denote their smallest denomination. In order to be numismatically correct, you must use the term cent to describe the American coin.

I wasn't trying to be. I was just pointing out something which looked obvious to me, but I guess not everyone reads people's names.

Nickels can be a great deal of fun to search. I've been doing them for quite some time now, and have a nice little collection. Do you ever find any Buffalo or V Nickels?
I have done about 500$ in nickels and i have found a 36 buffalo,a 37 buffalo,probably a xf 45 1906 v nick with full liberty, a 1984 proof,and a 2006 proof.
