May has been my worst month EVER in finding silver, but I finally caught a little bit of a break with my 4 boxes last week. When I opened the one box, I saw the two incredible enders and knew it was going to be a good box. This is the first time I have ever had a Commemorative ender!! Here is the breakdown:

2 - 1982 George Washington commemorative silver halves (Not only did the box contain a comm ender, there was another one in the box as well, so I ended up with TWO of them and got both mint marks!)

1937 WL
1940 WL
1952 Frankie
1954 Frankie
1963 Frankie
1967 Ken
1968 Ken
3 - 1969 Kens

Total of 12 beautiful Ag halves. It's been so pathetic lately in my area, I was really happy with these finds. The Comms were in very nice shape...one proof, the other regular. Mintage was 2M for one, and 4M for the other. It was fun discovering them. Yep, you just never know what you will find... :award_star_silver_2

All I can say is wow! I know some people don't like the GW Commemorative but I actually like it. Must be a great feeling cracking open a box and seeing those two enders. I'm sure a commemorative ender (commender) is super rare. Congrats!!!

It seems like all the good stuff is found in the yellow rolls, that's where all my best finds have been. Probably just completely coincidental though. Tits haul!

Sweet! I picked up a GW at a yard sale for $5 last year (so a nice deal), but I have yet to find any commems in the wild.

one hell of a box man. I found a proof GW comm. once, and I sacrificed it to the CRH gods in the hopes of future bounty (aka my girlfriends piggy bank that she somehow talked me into believing is lucky if I feed it silver)

Nice! I've found Barbers/Walkers/Franklins/Silver Proofs/Etc, but I've NEVER found even one Comm Half. Not even a clad Comm. Super awesome find!!!!

Thanks...it's the second type of silver Comm half I've found. I've found two other clad Comm's--and they are pretty cool too--but nothing like the silver ones, baby. Besides these two GW's, last year I found a 1952 Booker T Washington:
