Kennedy's and Ikes!

While I was picking up my weekly 2 boxes yesterday, the teller next door asked if I would be interested in any BIG Dollar coins. I said sure, what ya got? She replied with "300". i promptly snatched them up. No silver, but the next to last roll was solid 1978-P, mostly AU.....putting that roll away for now.....might post on Ebay.

The 2 boxes of halves produced 2 90's and 1 40. Of my last 12 Kens.....9 have been 90's......a great ratio!!

Unloading was easy....a teller at one of my other pickup banks took all of them!

I was at a credit union once and the teller said she had $1200 in Ikes. So $300 is nothin!

It was clear that somebody had ordered them to look for Ag, so I got a couple of hundred to sell on eBay for a modest profit, but I didn't want to really tie up any cash (or PayPal balance) on ikes.

No one bit on my lot of 100 on CL. I ended up unloading them on ebay in lots of $50. Cleared $19 in profit after shipping and fees.
