Well, I would hope this would be a good month for me, my birthday falls somewhere in the middle of June.. Garfield and I share a cake.
As for the state, I live in a constant state of Misery.

Just my state is.
I live about 80 miles SE of Kansas City. Just far enough away that I cant take advantage of the city and its plethora of banks. I am stuck doing 13 boxes every 2 weeks.

16 oz is the low goal, since only 4 weeks in June but really I would like to hit 20 oz in a month just from halves.

Today I did some dimes and nickels.
36 rolls of nickels - 1 war nickel
86 rolls of dimes - 2 Rosies
On a side note. Got talking to a cashier at a local liquor store. He has some silver coins and his wife some gold jewelery they are wanting to sell. I told them I was interested in buying so.... perhaps I have found a little cache I can buy for cash. I am going to talk with him further tomorrow.

Yeah.. June is getting to be pretty damned gloomy.
Out of the last 17 boxes, I have found only four 40% halves. This is the worst streak to date.
11 BOXES - - - - - - - - - 03/40% - 00/90% - 0/F - 0/W - 0/B : 00.4437 oz - 09 Skunks
Average: - - - - - - - - 0.27/40% - 0.00/90% : 0.0403 oz : Skunk Avg 82%
Hopefully next week makes up for it.

Hit the Coin Auction today. Didnt pick up much, just two 1969 mint sets. They were sold as a pair and I paid $4 ea for them. Made $0.46 melt and another $0.82 in spare change ( not that I am going to break the sets open ). I missed out on the 65 and 67 mint sets that I needed to finish my 65-70 collection. Those will come in time but I was not going to pay $8 each for them.

Gloom and doom... Doom and Gloom!
Ok.. the Doom was for the Devils, SUCK IT!!! Kings are Stanley Cup Champs! I have waited 19 years for this moment!
OK.. now that I have that out of my system... the gloom.
$325 worth of dimes.. Skunked
$36 worth of nickels.. Skunked.
Nothing to add to the pile. I expected around 8 ounces as of last Friday and I have yet to hit an ounce found this week.
Oh well, 2 boxes due tomorrow and 5 due on Friday. Maybe those will fill in the 11 oz gap that I will be needing filled by weeks end

LOL! I dont think they made it look easy. Games one and two went to OT, Game 3 was a blow out, games 4 and 5 the devils straight performed better. Game 6.. yeah, they made it look easy. Lots of blood on both sides even the refs. It was a great game but honestly, I would have liked more suspense. Regardless, I am pleased, I started watching in 92-93 when the Kings first went to the finals and have been a fan ever since.. waiting for the next moment.

Thankfully the costliest penalty in hockey history came.
1/100 of an American dollar is a cent. It is NOT a penny. The word penny is used by several other countries, such as Great Britain, to denote their smallest denomination. In order to be numismatically correct, you must use the term cent to describe the American coin.
