I was going to wait until the end of the week to share my totals, but I just have to share this. I hunted 35 boxes today, my largest in one sitting. I'm going to have 78 or 88 boxes done by the end of the week, so here is a teaser until then. Yes this was one roll..all franklins and one walker. Let's just say I was shaking the entire time I was opening this box..

Damn, nice!

I've started picking up boxes of halves again a couple of weeks ago. I only do three per week. Nothing but skunks so far.

Hmm... What are these boxes? Sorry, new

Coins come in boxes. Each box contains 50 rolls of coins. So he is referring to boxes of half dollars which have 1000 half dollars each, worth 500 dollars

If each box took 10 minutes on average...that's a little under 6 hours for the task, minimum. WOW! 6-8 hours in one day for CRH halves, that pace is one of the top paces that I have seen since Ive been on this forum. Great job. Looking forward to the result, and the porn.

Edit: And...a $17,500 bankroll. Holla!

Wouldn't mind having 35 boxes to sort at one sitting but I'd be at it a good while as I date check each coin. Gotta keep looking for the elusive 1970 ya know.

Very nice find, very nice indeed. That would make up for a whole lotta skunks in my book.

Rascal, i started treasurenet because i love to metal detect. However, after being on here and learning about crh i couldnt resist getting a roll of halves lol. Now that you mentioned u were looking for a 1970 i thought id recheck mine since thy were from that time frame. I have about seven 1971s, not any from1970 tho. If i ever run across one ill let u know.

You can rim check for 1970. I have found 2 by rim checking. Lol.
3 if you count one I found in a bag.
