Has anyone ordered boxes of coin from Citibank before?

If you have, what are your experiences? They want me to deposit money in my account several days before the coin arrives. I always bring cash to do an even exchange with other banks, and do not want to have money tied up like that. Anyone have any similar experiences?

Its probably just the branch. I've ordered from two different citibank branches and they gave no problems and another was going to charge a fee. Best part is they order twice a week

I haven't bought from Citibank before but, I would'nt like to do that because it leaves a "paper trail" if you will, and I don't like having big deposits and with draws constantly showing on my accounts, cash exchange for me only, but thats just me, fly under the radar you know.

Happened to me once but not at Citi. They required unfront fund before they ordered. That's just first time only. I think they wanted to make sure that you wouldn't leave those boxes in their valut. After that, no problem at all until they cut me off 4 weeks later.....bummer.
