I thought it would be fun to search my latest $100 box of nickels while online. Here are the roll by roll results!

Roll #1 - 1958-D (Good start!)
#2 - nada
#3 - nada
#4 - nada
#5 - nada
#6 - nada
#7 - 1941
#8 - nada
#9 - nada
#10 - nada (Hmm, only two pre-1960 in the first ten rolls. Hope results pick up!)
#11 - nada
#12 - nada
#13 - nada (13 wasn't lucky this time!)
#14 - nada
#15 - nada (Did I say this was a "fun" idea? Sheesh!)
#16 - nada
#17 - nada
#18 - nada
#19 - nada
#20 - nada (Hoo boy!)
#21 - nada
#22 - Finally! A 1954-S and a 1941-S "Large S" variety. That's a keeper!
#23 - 1958-D, now we're rollin'!
#24 - nada (Back to reality!)
#25 - nada (Halfway thru - maybe I opened the box at the wrong end and all the goodies are coming up!)
#26 - nada (Then again, maybe not!)
#27 - nada
#28 - nada
#29 - nada
#30 - nada (Maybe some classical background music will help. Where's that Mozart CD?)
#31 - 1954-D & 1956-D, thanks Wolfgang!
#32 - nada
#33 - nada (Uhhh, Wolfie?)
#34 - 1940-S, that's better!
#35 - nada
#36 - nada
#37 - nada (Sorry "Amadeus," but I'm switching over to the Beatles!)
#38 - 1940, just as "Dear Prudence" began. Knew I could count on the boys from Liverpool!
#39 - 1948
#40 - "Glass Onion" produces nada
#41 - nada
#42 - "Obladi Oblada"...Obla-nada!
#43 - 1947 during "Bungalow Bill"
#44 - nada
#45 - 1995 Canadian during "While My Guitar..."
#46 - nada (Into the home stretch here. Let's end with a bang!)
#47 - nada (...or a whimper!)
#48 - 1958-D during "Blackbird"
#49 - nada
#50 - nada

By far not the greatest box I've gone thru but at least I got a couple of keepers and enjoyed some good tunes.

Good luck and happy hunting everyone!

Believe it or not, no Bach, Killer. Only Mozart, Beethoven, Strauss, Tchaikovsky and Chopin.

You are a man of quality music! My best finds have come from the sound track of Les Miserables...which is my favorite! I think the bishop giving Jean Valjean the silver to start a new life helps!!! :D If you are unfamiliar with Les Miserables...I highly recommend it. ;D

Thanks! I don't own any Broadway music, but I'd love to give some a try. Are some renditions of Les Miz better than others?

There are 3-4 good cd's available...I can burn a few and send them to you...if you want... e-mail me your address. Don't think this would be any copyright problem! ;D

I'd rather drop it as a hint to some family members for Xmas ideas. They're all early shoppers. Thanks for the offer though, K-wine!
