I love it when I find pretty buffs in rolls

Out of a box I did yesterday, this was the only buff... Sorry about the crappy pics, I don't feel like setting up the tripod and lights for an AU, common-date buff.

Nice find Merc, I just found my first buff and a proof nickel a couple of days ago, maybe I'll get time post it later. I have never seen a proof nickel before.

Crappy pics? I'd love to see some of the pics using the lights and tripod. These pics are great. Common date or not, a Buff in that condition in the wild is a rarity.

That's pretty, common date or not. I'm just happy when I can read the date.

    Kindest regards,

Yeah, crappy... here's a better freehand pic with two lights...

Here's one on a homemade copy-stand type setup I was rocking for a bit.

Here's another Buff I found in a roll...

    NICE PICS!
1/100 of an American dollar is a cent. It is NOT a penny. The word penny is used by several other countries, such as Great Britain, to denote their smallest denomination. In order to be numismatically correct, you must use the term cent to describe the American coin.

So Merc Crazy, what is your secret? What camera do you use? Any special settings/lens? I would love to take such nice photos.

Canon T2i with a Tamron 272E Macro lens. Settings are pretty much default with adjusted white balance.
