Good eye, Red. The inversion is the camera, though. If you blow up the pictures, you will note the lettering on the canvas bag has the letters upside down and backwards. Note the "R". Also, if you note the Brinks box in the background, you will see the "$25 pennies" (I hate the use of pennies and not cents) label. It too is inverted.

You're right, didn't even check the bag the first time. I was just confused as to why the coin looked backwards haha.

Hey Kbomb. You da bomb dawg. But seriously, awesome find. Should be banner to find gold in cent box. I've often wondered if certain gold coins, which have the right diameter might make there way into a roll. I know Swiss 20 franc coins fit nicely in a nickel tube. Love to bust a roll open and find one of those bad boys. Congrats on your HUGE find.

The picture is crap, but when you blow up the picture there are details that are questionable. I want to give the benefit of the doubt to the OP, but I also see what others have chimed in about "copy". If you look close, I see the beginning of the "c" clearer than the other letters. The word will be inverted like the other details that I mentioned earlier. I'm hoping for the OP to chime in for some clarification. In the meantime, I've reserved judgement and will dismiss what I see as just being a crappy photo.

Interesting find. I do legitimately call shenanigans on this one, and according to the forum rules I'm allowed to.

I can't tell based on your web cam pictures, as I'd like to see higher resolution photos, but it appears to be stamped "COPY" on the forward shoulder of the Indian. Could you provide a higher resolution picture?

If I am wrong, congratulations on the find.

No way i can get better pics, i tried to somehow get a few pics from my iphone to my computer but i cant figure it out.

Download the treasure net App on your iPhone and post pictures directly through there. I do It with no problem and you can clearly see all of the coin details.

I'm afraid until I see the better quality pictures I call "copy" just like everyone else.

Hopefully you can figure out your phone and prove us all wrong!

Good luck

I have never seen a copy of one of these, other than online...and it said copy, on the back by the eagle...I dont see it here..
But, if you do think it's real...don't keep it in that little cardboard holder...thats for clad proofs.. lol. Have that bad boy graded...that's all the proof you will ever need!

Why can't you send the pics right from your iPhone? I do it all the time. Don't you have the tnet app?
