I won't be posting today as usual; no cash for halves :(

Usually I have fridays off and I go coin roll hunting. Sorry, but i won't be posting any stories about finding Barber halves found in bank bags. Right now all of my available money is stuck in halves. So I am stuck at home. I take that back, I made a $100 deposit today of halves today and while I was there I asked if they had rolls of dimes. I got four. I went out to the car and there was a 5 pence coin in with the dimes. It is not old, but is it silver? Looks like I'll have to take another load to the casino to get bills.

Dude that stinks. I didn't get to do any hunting today either :(. Got a BIG road trip planned for next week though on my way to my parents place for deer season.

If you don't mind me asking is there a reason you can't cash your halves in at the bank?

His banks are probably the SUCK like mine. Pissy little wenches who only have to pour them into the machine, just enough whining to get the bank officers to agree to 10% fee's. Plus the fat sweaty man losing a loan to ditech has nothing on these clown bankers. I just found out today that the average fee in my small town for paperwork for processing a loan is now $250. And I am talking about a loan for $2000. That's not counting the actual interest they make.

Grrrr

OMG I really hate getting started on this one. It sure burns you up when you have made many loans through the years with all the banks in your area and always did very well by them. And they stand united leaving you in a rut.

What Postalrevna said. I usually only take about a $100 into my bank per week. I don't like to take more than that because I get my boxes from another branch of that bank in another small town. I hope they haven't caught on yet. I try to spend as many as possible and every so often we make a trip to a casino to cash in halves and calibrate the slot machines :)
