What would y'all do?

I hit two banks this a.m. ~ $180 in halves from one, $340 from the other.

Got 5 40% and one 90% from the $180.

Now here's the rub...... of the #340, only four rolls weren't marked with a date, and they gave up 4 40%ers. All the others have a date written on the wrapper. The brown/flat wrappers have all yielded exactly 20 of that years coin ---- but I have a dozen rolls which are rolled and crimped - some are from '71, '74, anbd '76.

Do I bust into them and see what I may find, or put 'em on e-bay as unsearched bank rolls?

What to do........ what to do?

I would look through them. Nothing ventured nothing gained. The worst that could happen is you find nothing.

That is what I like about CRH. If you go to a casino and gamble, you stand the chance of losing your money.
In CRH, the worst that can happen is you keep your money. No loss.
Of course, the best that can happen is to become a God or Goddess of Silver! ;)

Definately keep and search them well. No one would know that you were being honest and didn't just write a date on them. Good luck and tell us what you find! :)

I'd look for double dies in the 71 and 74s. I don't know if 76 had any or not. Don't have my books with me at this time.

I couldn't stand it.....

I looked 'em before I got any replies.......

Although all were crimped armored car services rolls, with a date inked on them, none were UC, most had off-dates in them, and only ONE 40%er.

Totals were 11 40%ers, one 90%er.

Grits..... with no salt OR pepper....................
