My understanding is that Canadian Five Cent coins from 2000 to date are .94 steel. These would all be attracted to a magnet. I just found a 2000 that must be made without steel as a magnet has no effect on it. I am guessing it is the zinc/copper composition used in 1999. Is this common in the 2000 issues, or is this a rarity?
