Five days relaxing in San Diego did wonders! Even did a little MD-ing on the beach (grand total - one 1981 penny!). Now I'm back in Vegas and once again hitting the half dollar slots. Nice to see the results still fantastic. From $600 I got 35 40%ers (65x4, 66x3, 67x7, 68x16, 69x5). Also did $100 on the quarter slots and found a 1953-S! Then near the coin counter I found a small acrylic charm in the shape of a Buddha. It's about the size of a half dollar and has a Euro cent super-glued to the back. Obviously it was someone's good luck charm.

[red]*Update*[/red] - Another visit today (Monday) reeled in twenty more 40%ers (65x1, 66x4, 67x7, 68x5, 69x3) from $750. The finds-to-dollar-amount ratio is slowly diminishing so I don't know how much more there is left to discover. I'll keep on it!

Immy, the ratio is still better than most rolled boxes. I average about 12 keepers per box, and that is in a good month. Keep cashing out those machines! Try a box or four now, they really seem to be putting a higher than normal amount of silver and very old coins in the boxes right now!

Not sure about boxes yet Jake. The bank where I used to get them had a staff that wasn't exactly on the ball. And the B of A that I also go to gets regularly cleaned out by another roll hunter. I'll stick with slots. Speaking of that...

29 more 40%ers today (65x2, 66x5, 67x11, 68x6, 69x5) and a 1971-S proof out of $600. Tried another $100 in quarters but no silver this time.

The well is definitely drying up. Out of $700 today I only got ten 40%ers (66x1, 67x3, 68x1, 69x5), a 2000-S proof and a 1983-D with a crude hole in it. Ah well, might as well get used to bringing home totals like this from now on. It was good while it lasted!

Hit those banks everyone and good luck!

Well, there are still more to be found. I can't quite tell how depleted the slots are in this casino since the results vary so consistantly. From $700 I got 22 more 40%ers today (65x1, 66x3, 67x5, 68x7, 69x6) and a modern Japanese token. I put a post about it in "What Is It"

Eleven more 40%ers today (67x5, 68x3, 69x3) from just $200. I had to cut my casino hunting short to get some Christmas shopping done!
