Picked up a box of halves this morning, managed to snag one 40%er: 1968D. It was a reverse ender and the only silver in the box.

Man, what is up with that? That's like 2 now for ya isn't it? The "Silver Gods" must be playing with you MM, lol. Hope the next one is better! HH, Maverick.

I don't know, man. There are just so many high-volume hunters in my area, not to mention the Jersey people that seem to be coming over into my area as well. I'm small potatoes, most boxes of halves I've done in a week was ten. I average closer to five per week.

Anyway, dumped the halves from this morning and found three keepers in the reject tray:

1953D Roosie
1957 Roosie
1964 Washington

8-)

Picked up four boxes of dimes to search tonight.

Had an awesome night last night! Had a lot of fun searching those dime boxes that I picked up yesterday. Here's the breakdown:

Box 1: skunk.

Box 2: 1946D Roosie.

Box 3: 1963 Roosie.

And now for where it gets really interesting...

Box 4 gave up fifteen keepers! Yes, ONE-FIVE! My best dime box ever! All the keepers were Roosies. One roll had three keepers in it, several rolls had two. Also got my first dime ender, it was a reverse ender. Here's the breakdown:

1946
1947
1953
1954
1963 x 3
1963D x 2
1964 x 4
1964D x 2

8-) 8-) 8-) 8-) 8-) 8-)

Dumped the dimes from the weekend, snagged a 1946 Roosie from the teller's tray while I was getting my cash.

Picked up a box of halves + $120 worth of CWR of halves + $10.50 in loose halves.

The $120 of CWR gave up one 40%er: 1966.

The $10.50 in loose halves gave up three 40%ers, all 1968D.

Also picked up $46 worth of Ikes, nothing good.

EDIT: the box of halves gave up one 40%er: 1965.

Snagged a 1964D Roosie from the reject tray before dumping the dimes from last night.

I was successful in talking the customer service rep into giving me some bags to use for dumping, only took me a freakin' year of sweet talking her. She gave me three to start off with. She said I could fill them up to a thousand dollars worth of halves and that I wouldn't have to wait to get my money. So, I'll give that a try tomorrow.

Picked up two boxes of halves to search after work.

Very cool! You'll love the bags, my banks policy is sending my bags out, I wish they'd just exchange right then and there but, I do only have to wait 1 or 2 days for credit, so it's not horrible. HH, Maverick.

I'm really looking forward to being able to walk in, hand them the bag, get my cash, and walk back out.

I think I'm only going to do this once in a while though, like if I need to be quick with dumping and picking up on my lunch break. Reject tray finds are a big part of my game that I don't want to give up. I've added 2.5 ozt so far this year just from reject tray finds while dumping coins. Last year I found a little over 8 ozt just from reject tray finds.

Those two boxes of halves from yesterday were both skunks. On my way right now to pick up two more.

Dumped halves from last night, found a silver quarter in the reject tray: 1959.

Picked up two boxes of halves this morning, each one gave up a Kennedy:

1964
1966

Not too shabby.

MM, you really do clean up on the reject finds don't you? I've never gotten reject silver, glad that's working out for you. You will like using the bags. So easy and quick. My dump bank only wants $500 per bag for easier lifting. Your bank must have strong girls.
