Attached are the pics. I was out of town in a seldomly visited town, and decided to check some banks. In the first bank a nice teller showed me the 3 clad halves in her tray, and although normally I buy them I passed them up. She then said that she had rolls of half dollars.

While she was getting them out she let me look at her tray. I spotted 4 silver dimes and the top one was a foreign '67 from the Philippines. I bought the 4 dimes and the 2 rolls of halves. Ended up with 14 40%'s in one roll and 9 40%'s in the other roll.

Another bank had 3 Rosies.

Nice score there FF! And you have a few clad left over to replace silver in your boxes, lol. HHS, Maverick.

The only silver 20th century Philippine coins I know of we're prewar, made by the US mint in SF. Just future reference.

Thanks Maverick. When I opened the first roll my first thought was a solid roll, but beggars can't be choosers. Lol

I wondered if it was a teller's hoard.

manila made silver coins pre war---once the war began and the japanese invaded , they dumped the coins in manila bay to keep the japanese from getting them --many were recovered post war by navy divers
