I had a silver dime in my change jar about 1 year ago. It started my hunt.

Finding a 1964 quarter renewed my hunting as an adult, but as a kid, I got a buffalo nickel, and a 1921 morgan.

a 1956d washington quarter from my mother's purse when I was a kid... she told me, "hey, this quarter is dirty and sounds weird, you can have it" LOL I was 6 at the time and knew about silver coinage from my grandfather. I still have that quarter.
On another occasion, a 1964 quarter AND dime from a vending machine at a roller skating place when I was at a birthday party in 5th grade... if only I had more cash on me to keep hitting the reject button.

nothing recent, maybe a proof ike from 1974-S(not silver) or a 1943p war nickel.

My wife used to work at a convenient store..like a 7-11. Told her to always check the change and told her what to look for. In the last year she worked there, she gave me a 1946 Washington and a 1947 Roosevelt

I have been checking my pocket change religiously since the mid-1970's. My all-time best find is a common date wheatie.

Did four boxes of halves one day and got skunked then I stopped at a sandwich store and got a silver dime back in my change.

Mine was a 63 Rosie. I always check my change but must have missed it. Found it when I got a Littleton folder for clad dimes. Grabbed all the change from my truck and put it on my desk to sort trough. when I walked past it I noticed it sitting there with its all white rim.

How about this error (heavy grease) strike my dad got back in change. He gave it to me. The faint date reads 1994.
