So I was dumping a bag of halves and the merchant teller said she had $80 in rolled halves someone just brought in and $500 in dimes from customers. I of course took them all and had to come back to work (the nice part of being 1099'd) I decided to open 1 roll before I came into my office and YESSS!

Now I am not getting any work done as I think about the other rolls.

Good Luck,

Jeff

Awsome score there Jeff! I have been waiting for one of those to pop up for over a year now! I've searched hundreds of boxes too. HH, Maverick.

I am also dreaming of the 1970, as well as silver proofs of any year, and silver comems. I have found a barber in the wild, plenty of walkers, plenty of bens, and plenty of 90% kens. Lucky guy! Post your other pics from the finds later, please!?

Thanks very much guys! Went home for lunch and unfortunately I did not get the solid rolls I was day dreaming about as the 70 was the only find. I am not complaining though as the first find of something is always the best :)

I will go through dimes tonight, than 8 boxes of halves tomorrow so will let you all know.

Good luck,

Jeff

Very nice find Jeff!! Is it a 1970-D? It's a beaut! Two weeks ago I found my first 70-D and 70-S in two different boxes, but they both had the same dirty paint on them. Yours looks great!!! Puts mine to shame. Haha

Good luck,

It was bittersweet since they were so ugly. Lol Yours looks great and the D has a lower mintage than the S.

So I did the $500 in dimes last night and got 3 rosies. I'll take it.

Good Luck,

Jeff
