I have about 30 face canadian pennies.

I bought them thinkning I could cull copper - NOPE already done. I have 30 face zinc steel can. cents. FML

I'd say in a hundred years they would be of value. Just think Indian head cents were circulated at one time.

IH cents became rare because no one thought to keep them. I mean cents still existed right? I bet everyone in the country keeps a handful now that they know they are going to be detroyed. Heck, most people don't even bother to turn them in to get paper money, they just leave them in a jar. I don't think anyone is goingto rush out to get rid of them now.

I keep Georges and nothing later, its a waste of time. They get thrown in the copper pile with the rest of the copper CENTS, to go to some copper cent fool. Remember, Canadians use the term CENT as well as we do, its the brits, that use 'penny'.
