So there is this small CU near my mom's house. I was there today before I headed to class for a mid term. So when I drove by and figured what the heck, I'll see if they have any halves. A teller behind a desk asked me if she could help me with anything. I said I was looking to buy any halves they had. She said she had some loose halves, I told her I'd take em all. She comes back with a bank envelope with $10.50 written on it and some other loose halves all clad. I buy them all and head to class to take my test. I get home and almost forget about them in the car. I throw the envelope in my pocket and head inside. I get inside I open the flap and pour them into my hand.. My heart stopped. They are all 1964 Kennedy's!! 21 in all!!! And no, they don't have any more...

It does count as a solid roll. The others will disagree, they are wrong. HH

I've only been hunting for a few months and while I can notice the sound difference, it doesn't stick out like a sore thumb like I imagine it does for you guys. Though I do remember thinking I heard silver, I didn't want to think about it, I really needed to focus for this test, Calculus C (3rd year of calc) is a pain in the arse. If I had found this before the test... No way I could have focused.

I sometimes don't hear my wife talking sitting beside me, but I can hear silver through inch thick glass 30 feet away in a bomb proof vault.
:laughing7: BTW very nice score!

Yikes! I had a hard time in Calc 3 when I was in school. I'm guessing either math, physics, engineering or computer science? I did CS.

Mechanical Engineering. I also have Dynamics, Material Science, and Differential Equations & Linear Algebra... tons of funs! haha

Thanks everyone! I can't believe how stupidly luck I am. I played the lottery, but no luck. I guess I used it all up on this. And yeah, I think its a solid roll... I have them in a roll now! I've stopped there a couple times in the past, but only scored halves once, $98, and they were all clads except one loose 40%er.
